This literature course invites middle school students to explore and enjoy classic works across genres including fiction, fantasy, biography, short stories, poetry, and drama. Students will develop skills in literary analysis, historical context, and application of biblical principles.

Through guided discussion, engaging activities, historical study, and creative writing, students learn to find deeper significance in literature and relate it to modern culture and faith.

  • Parents are responsible for purchasing the course workbook and reading titles (print versions preferred) at the start of the year. Students should bring these materials to class weekly. Parents also help students manage their reading pace and assignment completion.
