Exploring Art Mediums for Teens (Ages 12–18)
Explore, experiment, and experience a wide variety of visual art materials and techniques in this engaging, hands-on art class designed specifically for teens aged 12 to 18. This course encourages students to develop creative thinking through experimentation with both 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional media.
After building foundational drawing skills, students will expand their artistic horizons by working with oil and chalk pastels, watercolor, acrylic paints, textiles, and more. The course also includes basic hand-building and sculpture skills using clay and other tactile materials.
Throughout the class, students will study famous master artists to draw inspiration and deepen their understanding of artistic concepts. Hands-on projects foster creativity, build technical skills, and help teens develop their own artistic voice in a supportive and dynamic environment.
