Primary English 2 Coursebook (Ages 7–8)
The Primary English 2 Coursebook is the core language arts resource for homeschool families with students who are ready to build on early reading and writing skills. Designed for ages 7–8, this course strengthens literacy through a structured blend of phonics, vocabulary, spelling, handwriting, poetry, and reading comprehension.
Students will expand their reading ability by learning more advanced phonograms, prefixes, suffixes, and roots — giving them the tools to decode longer, more complex words. The course includes weekly spelling tests, poetry, scripture memory, and early chapter book reading. Writing assignments will grow from single sentences to full paragraphs, and students will begin introductory cursive in the spring.
