Course Description:
This course is the second of Saxon’s two-course sequence which integrates geometry into the algebraic sequence. This allows a student to get to calculus before graduation. This course includes graphing, real and complex numbers, conversion by unit multipliers, proportions, percents, rate, exponents, roots, simplifying various expressions, simplifying and solving equations, linear equations, quadratic equations, trigonometry, and includes an introduction to several key science topics including vectors, pH, trig functions, and standard gas laws.
