Middle School Engineering 2 (Ages 12–14)
This course is designed for curious students who love exploring how things work — whether it’s Legos, robots, or appliances. Building on foundational STEM skills, students engage in team projects across eight engineering disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, biomedical, computer, petroleum, environmental, aerospace, and robotics.
Projects include building circuits and breadboards, understanding gears and catapults, exploring logic with Turing machines, programming small robots, creating powered paper airplanes, and more. Students learn to analyze why their projects succeed or fail and present team design projects through PowerPoint presentations.
Additionally, students learn mechanical drawing using three-view sketches and explore the lives of great engineers, discovering how their work glorified God.
