Purpose
This course moves students from arithmetic to Pre-algebra in 1 year. This can help a student catch up, or help ensure that a student gets to calculus by age 16. Transition Math completes the process of mastering transitional topics, including measurement, partial amounts, place value, and arithmetic word problems. When a student completes this course, he or she is completely ready for Pre-algebra and the beginning of algebraic reasoning.
