A summer bridge course preparing students for High School English 1

This 8-week course is designed to smoothly transition students from middle school to high school English. It reviews key concepts from Middle School English 2 and introduces skills that prepare students for One Day Academy’s High School English 1 course.

Course Features:

  • Comprehensive focus on Writing, Grammar, and Vocabulary.
  • Writing instruction aligned with ODA’s High School English 1 curriculum.
  • Grammar study based on the first half of Jensen’s Punctuation, covering sentence structures and punctuation (Jensen’s Punctuation book required).
  • Vocabulary review of prefixes, suffixes, and roots from middle school levels.
  • Suitable for new ODA students and those wanting a solid foundation before high school.
