Conceptual Physics (Ages 15–18)
This Conceptual Physics course is tailored for students who are not pursuing math-heavy college degrees or careers but want a meaningful exploration of physics grounded in everyday life and a Biblical worldview.
Through engaging class lectures and numerous hands-on activities, students will discover God’s design in the physical world. The course covers core topics including material substances, mechanics, thermodynamics, wave phenomena, electricity and magnetism, and modern physics.
The text is accessible and enjoyable, with assessments focusing on vocabulary, conceptual understanding, and math problems that are less intensive than those found in STEM-focused physics courses.
- Prerequisites include Algebra 1, and students may take this course concurrently with Algebra 2.
